The Met Gala is an annual fundraising gala that raises money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It celebrates the opening of the Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit. The Met takes place on the first Monday of May in NYC. It is hosted by Anna Wintour, the chief editor of Vogue. Each year has a theme that corresponds to the exhibit. This years theme was Camp: Notes on fashion.
